My name is Anshika Shukla, and I'm pursuing an Integrated course in management from Nirma University, Ahmedabad. Working with the Muskaan Foundation was an enriching and rewarding experience, from a professional as well as a personal standpoint. Not only did I get to improve my soft skills, I also learnt a great deal about Road Safety, which is a very rudimentary topic. To sum up, this internship was nothing short of excellent, which left me with some lifelong connections and values.
This internship with Muskaan Foundation has been so much more - it’s been a journey of growth, learning, and meaningful contribution to a cause that truly matters. From incognisant first few days to confidently engaging with the public at traffic signals and designing impactful awareness campaigns for a variety of demographics, we found ourselves becoming part of something bigger. What started as an internship became a social mission. I'm glad to attest that I've left the organisation as a more mindful and responsible citizen, aware of the road safety challenges around us, and honoured to have contributed to a cause that is providing solutions to this issue. I’m walking away from this internship not just with skills, but with stories, learnings, and a deeper sense of purpose.
