About Us

MUSKAAN: Foundation for Road Safety is an officially registered nonprofit trust with a dedicated mission to foster a safety-conscious road culture. This mission is realized through a comprehensive strategy encompassing Awareness, Education, Training, and Advocacy. The organization obtained charitable trust registration in 2001. Recognizing road safety as a collective obligation, this NGO adopts a holistic and community centric methodology to address the multifaceted challenges of road safety.

Begining of Our Journey

The inception of the NGO dates back to 1999, emerging as a response to a tragic incident that claimed the life of 17-year-old Durva Bhasin in a road accident. Durva Bhasin was the daughter of the founding members, Mr. Pramod Bhasin and Dr. Mridul Bhasin. This unfortunate event served as the impetus for the establishment of the organization, driven by a deep sense of purpose to address road safety issues and prevent further such tragedies.
