The NGO was conceptualized in 1999 after the tragic loss of 17-year-old Durva Bhasin, who lost her life in a devastating road accident. Durva Bhasin was the daughter of the founder member couple, Mr. Pramod Bhasin and Dr. Mridul Bhasin. The fledgling Not-for-Profit Organization stated with road safety awareness sessions in schools and grew with time. Recognizing road safety as a collective responsibility, our organization adopts an integrated, community-centric approach to address the multifaceted challenges associated with road safety.
We actively collaborate with both governmental and private entities, including educational institutions, corporate organizations, government training institutes, road-owning agencies, enforcement agencies, and medical and health establishments. Our collective objective is to cultivate a positive and proactive road safety attitude among all stakeholders. To fulfill our mission, we undertake a range of projects, programs, campaigns, and activities aimed at promoting road safety awareness and education, influencing policy-making, and implementing evidence-based strategies.
